Colleen Worrell

Marketing Coordinator

Colleen is a graduate of UNCW, majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Business. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication at UNCW. This program encompasses advertising, public relations, promotions, event marketing, and social media management. She enjoys applying what she learns in her courses to help advertise Feast Down East as a whole.

Colleen began working with FDE in 2019 as a marketing intern, but has since been promoted to the Marketing Coordinator. She is very passionate about FDE’s mission and is excited she gets to promote the organization on a daily basis through social media, email, blogs, and outreach in the community. She hopes to teach everyone about the important work FDE does.

Health has always been a major part of Colleen’s life. She has been eating organic foods for over ten years and eats local when she can. Since joining the FDE team, Colleen has enjoyed learning more about our local food systems and the importance of our farmers.

When Colleen isn’t working, you’ll find her at a concert, the beach, or supporting a local business!


Robin Hanratta

Nutrition Education Manager

Robin, our Nutrition Education Manager, joined Feast Down East in August 2019 originally as our Mobile Market Manager. Robin is originally from Richmond Virginia, moved to Wilmington in the Fall of 2014.

After having her two children and experiencing countless battles with her health, she pursued an education at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, becoming a Certified Health Coach in 2016. Once completing the program, she decided to hold wellness classes at local yoga studios and libraries, while creating and sharing healthy recipes geared specifically to children on social media platforms like Instagram.

However, after seeing and learning about the impact of food insecurity in and around food deserts, she knew she was passionate about finding a solution to the growing problem. She enjoyed the educational programs she had developed, but kept finding herself stuck on food deserts and reaching individuals and families who were not able to access, prepare and eat nutrient-dense foods. 

Robin was over the moon when she found Feast Down East and looks forward to helping solve the issues of accessibility in low income areas and providing beneficial nutritional information for the community. When Robin’s not working she likes spending time with her family, surfing and cooking.
